Do I need ARC approval to replace/remove a tree in my yard (street tree, front or back yard)?
You must submit an ARC for approval BEFORE removing or replacing the trees. Please reference the Duval County approved tree list; all street trees (trees between sidewalk and curb) must be a Canopy type tree. Also, please remember that replacement trees must be at least 8 feet tall with a minimum caliper of 2 inches.
Can I paint or seal my driveway?
Driveways and sidewalks may be stained with architectural review approval.
Can I choose any color to paint my house?
No. Residents must select one of the approved color schemes in the Architectural Guidelines.
Do I need an ARC application to repaint my home the same color?
No. If you are repainting the outside of your house and not changing the color of the body or trim, you do not need to submit an ARC application.

Can anyone park in front of my house?
Yes! Although Scenic Oaks Drive is a private road maintained by the members of the Olde Oaks Homeowners Association, Inc., we do not have any parking restrictions for anyone to park in front of a member’s home. If a vehicle is blocking your driveway’s access, you may report the issue.
What should I do if I notice suspicious behavior?
If it is an emergency, dial 911. Call the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Non-Emergency line at (904)630-0500 for non-emergencies. The dispatcher who takes your call will ask questions about the activity to determine its nature and ask for descriptions of the people involved. You might be asked if an officer or detective may contact you, but you may refuse.
